Summer 2011 - Studies of the area are undertaken by consultants
July 16th, 2012 - First presentation to Municipal Council and first Public Consultation on the proposed re-zoning and official plan amendment
August 11th, 2012 - Community Barbecue against rezoning
September 10th, 2012 - Public meeting for answers to questions on the re-zoning request
October 10th, 2012 - Council meeting to hear decision on the re-zoning application - No decision meeting...The proponent asked that the demand for rezoning Plantagenet to build an asphalt plant be put on 'HOLD'.
November 5th, 2012- Alfred-Plantagenet municipal council adopted the Resolution to Modify the designation of the Jessup's Falls Escarpment removing the Mineral Aggregate Resources Policy Area and expanding the Area of Natural and Scientific Interest.
AUGUST 2013 - Revisions to the Official Plan will be presented to the United Counties of Prescott-Russell.
April 27, 2017 - Pre-hearing conference with the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB)
October 2nd, 2017 - Full hearing with Ontario Municipal Board (OMB)
